Jill Grandchamp, health and fitness expert and mommy of three, knows first hand how crazy and chaotic the balancing act of motherhood can be. So we are pleased and proud to offer you the opportunity to participate in a fitness program designed especially with busy moms and moms-to-be in mind.

Halloween Stroller Workout Pictures
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS & LOCATIONS
Prenatal Workouts consist of safe and effective exercises using weight training, endurance exercise, aerobic conditioning, aquatics, and pregnancy pilates. Classes located at Wilmington Athletic Club (WAC) 4:30pm - 5:15pm Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Non-members welcome, childcare available. (Limited class size to ensure personal attention).Postnatal stroller workouts consist of power walking with infant(s)or child(ren) in stroller and include creative and various forms of strength training exercises using exercise tubing, body weight and the stroller. Enjoy a total body workout with a positive and supportive environment that is high energy, motivating, fun, and no need for childcare! Classes currently located at Halyburton Park 9:30am-10:30am every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Both programs will help develop stamina, increase strength, restore muscle tone, and increase energy to more easily handle the rigors of motherhood.
Clinical studies have proven repeatedly that there are numerous benefits of exercise
during pregnancy and after delivery such as:
• Shorter labor time and easier deliveries
• Less weight gain and a quicker return to pre-pregnancy weight
• Reduced need for medical interventions such as c-sections, forceps, or episiotomies
• Muscle development essential for supporting the demands of pregnancy, delivery, and new motherhood.
